X X. S E R E N E T Y  M E A D O W

In the midst of the vast tundra, a steep hill rises from the ground. On the other side of the hill, it gently slopes down and mellows out into a wide meadow. The field is surrounded by a ring of trees, giving it the appearance of a huge forest clearing. The long, soft grasses reach over a cat's head, and usually poke through the light snow. Many animals often come here, making it a wonderful place to hunt with a friend. During spring, the snow melts, revealing the soft, pink and green grass; numerous flowers bloom, and the whole meadow lights up with the bright essence of spring.
