Actually, no. XD Fire and Sand were both selfs, meaning they had the recessive gene for no white spotting. Out of no where, both Leaf and Squirrel have white markings. Two ginger cats can only have ginger kittens anyway.
Sand: ii(red) Fire: i(red)
Leaf: II??????
Sorry, I'm a cat nerd. :) I'll shut up now.

Wow, are we really talking biology here :/ Cause I don't see the point. Blackfoot could not have black feet, and i seriously doubt theres any cat who would look like Spiderleg. The Erins were authors. Not zoologists.

lol. Sandstorm wasn't a red cat though, she was brown, a sand coloured pelt. lol. And besides, female cats can't be red. And male cats can't be Calicos

They can be. But it's very rare and they're most likely infertile. But with the vast population of cats nowadays, I don't see the reason why there couldn't be at least one or two normal fertile male calicos or female gingers out of the millions in the world today

Nooooo!!! *drags back* Just one more, I swear!
There are female ginger cats, Icey! The red gene's carried on the X chromosome, so females have two - red, O, or nonred, o. If a cat is Oo, she's a torie, which is why only hermaphodite males can be torties - normal males have only one X chromosome. :B There are just fewer red females than males 'cause they have to be homozygous for red.
And I think Sandeh was light ginger, or cream, meaning dilute for the red gene. *shuts up*
ANYWAY. . .
Was anyone else annoyed by the whole camp-way-from camp thing? If the sickness spread that easily, why would Firestar risk his lives or the problem go away when all the cats left camp? (I'll cite specific examples later when I can borrow the book from my friend again.)

lol. I don't know how much you really care about this, but I volunteered at a vetrenarian, and if there is a female ginger, she can't breed, and will be extremely weak, unable to fend for herself, etc... and the same for Male calicos..

Mhm, listen to this Icey:
Besides, my friend used to own a female ginger cat. She was healthy (couldn't have kittens because they spayed her, but what ev) and she was fine. Another site said that statistics show 75% of ginger cats are toms, while females are only 25%. It's true and possible.
So let's stop debating over this, okay? xD

Your fault this time. XD
Incidentally, if someone submitted a hermaphrodite bio would it be allowed? I mean like having characteristics of both sexes.
And I wish we'd seen more of Leopardstar.

Acctuuually, my friend has a female ginger cat... and she's perfectly healthy :/
and as for the calico thing, I just have to add to it xD
Male calicoes: XXY Female calicoes: XY XXY= Sterile So there can be male calicoes, but they're always sterile |3

They're not always sterile. It depends on how they become male calicos. And I was thinking of making Twinkletoes's kit gay, I suggested it to smish and icewind months ago. Is it allowed? We also regularly argue whether cats can have a sex change. Mainly because some time 'she' is simply miss-typed at 'he'. We argue a lot XD
