//Sure Mossy. If you need Star Clan/Arctic Clanners, Ringedpaw could come and apologise or something. I think I might go make an Arctic Clan kit.
Skypaw' long grey coat stood on end as she shivered. What were Star Clan punishing them for? Why take away their leader, the core of the clan? She felt cold inside. She'd nothing left. She hadn't had any family for a long time now, but she could taste the grief pouring of every cat aroun her. Sorrow, confusion, anger, lonliness...The feelings of everyone were a thick, tangible mist threatening to sufocate he cats. ''Bramblepaw...Bramblestar, you always did lead us well. I'm sorry. Skypaw brushed her shoulder against his before turning to join Cuckoopaw as part of a hunting partol. 'We will support any decisions made by our leader, be from here or in Star Clan.' She lay down on the cold floor and colsed her eyes. Skypaw had suffered so much herself; she knew only too well how Bramblepaw, Cuckoopaw and Mossmask were feeling. Death was the only enemy who can't be beaten, the wounds he inflicts never healing, and his victory more painful for it. Why even try to fight the unbeatable? Just makes another body to add to the pile.

[I'll keep you my dirty little secret] (>^^)> Mythflight <(^^<) Her eyes shot up and open at the sound of the she-cat;s voice. She flicked her tail and let her nose fall into the fur of her fallen leader. She said nothing, but her fur stuck up in her anger, hurt, and terror. She lifted her head one more time and her eyes narrowed at Mossmask. Her 47 moon old body began to grow as if she were puffing herself up for battle. She was small but her attitude seemed to make her larger, and more dangerous. She looked into the jaden eyes of MOssmask and her emerald green eyes flickered once with uncertainty, but she took a breath and spoke her mind, her words were cold, and filled with hate and pain. "What do you know of pain and death Mossmask? Who are you to say Starclan still calls for our good? Are you to say that they will not take away whom they please when they please without the littlest bit ocare for what the rest of us think, are you to say that you still think they are for our good!" She said, her voice was not a shout, yell, or,wail, but it was much more menacing, a whisper so soft and cold that no one could challenge her. She turned without a word and raced out of camp and away.

[Who has to know][-]Sprintpaw[-] His eyes lifted as Cuckoopaw moved toward the entrance waiting for others. He turned and looked as Flowerpaw went to rise but was denied. He wrapped his tail around her and looked at Cuckoopaw shaking his head. He turned back as Flowerpaw spoke. "I love you too bro." His heart broke, just then, and his eyes closed in bitter pain. She would never love him like he loved her. She only thought of him as a brother, irritating and cute in only that way. Perhaps he reminded her of Copperpaw, it had been he that had been closest to Copperpaw. He shook his head slowly and lowered it sadly to his paws. He looked at the black and white fur and another tear slipped over his eyelid and down his cheek. Not for his foster father, not for his leader, but for the she-cat sitting beside him. For she would never know how much he cared for her, and she w9ould never know how his heart ached to be the one whose shoulder she cried on. And the name which she called for when she was scared, and how he wished to be the one who would protect her and love her, and keep her safe. He shook his head and lifted his paw to wipe at the tears.

[This truth drives me into madness]
"How dare you--?!" Cuckoopaw had jumped back to her feet as her voice choked on her words and the last of her tears ran unchecked down her muzzle. Her blue eyes narrowed in a hateful glare at Mythflight as the warrior finished speaking so disrespectfully to her mother.
"You think this just affects you?" the younger she-cat called out as Mythflight began to leave. "You're asking Mossmask what she knows of pain when her mate is dead right in FRONT of her?! She lost a mate, she lost a kit, she lost her mother, she lost friends like you did! How can you--What?!"Cuckoopaw turned her glare to Bramblepaw as her older brother's tail laid across her back. She swallowed a hard lump, feeling as if she accidentally ate a bone from a piece of fresh-kill, at his unwavering gaze. Cuckoopaw wanted to shout at him, to ask how in StarClan's name he could seem so calm despite hearing Mythflight's scornful words, but instead she turned her head away so she wouldn't feel as if she were looking into her father's eyes. "We all take death in our own way," he said softly, his voice thick with a heavy heart. She tried glaring at him stubbornly, but instead she buried her nose in his shoulder, suddenly uncaring of her image, uncaring of the heat that burned her ears in embarrassment for letting the clan see her this way. Bramblepaw didn't mind and stayed as still as possible for her. "She still shouldn't have said that," Cuckoopaw mumbled. A rough tongue swiped across the top of her head. "I... I don't think our mother heard, anyway..." The black and white she-cat lifted her head at that, noticing out of the corner of her eyes that Skypaw had joined her brother and she, with Bramblepaw thanking her for her support, and looked to Mossmask. The sight of the long-haired warrior seemingly not caring about anything at the moment, save for how clean she could get Foreststar's pelt, made Cuckoopaw's heart sink deeper into despair. Mossmask had seemed that way when Copperpaw died as well; she had pushed onward with life due to help from Foreststar and her surviving children, yet would her mate's death push her over the edge? Her blue eyes flickered over to look at Flowerpaw and Sprintpaw, the latter seemingly allowing tears to come. Cuckoopaw watched as Flowerpaw, an almost mirror image of Mossmask herself physically and in temperment, nuzzle Sprintpaw even more and speak to him ( "Sit next to me during the vigil tonight...?"). StarClan forbid any more unnatural disasters to happen to the clan, to her family; Cuckoopaw feared that Flowerpaw would lose her optimism like it had almost disappeared after Copperpaw passed on. "...When are we leaving to hunt?" Cuckoopaw asked dully. "I suppose now," Bramblepaw answered, his voice a steady reassurance. With a nod to Skypaw, he caught Cardinalvoice's and Hunterstealth's gazes to silently ask them to watch over their remaining family and new home before leading the two she-cats out of the camp. [If I will it all away...!][/blockquote] ((Do you two want to do the hunting thread, or shall we just pretend it happened? xD I don't think it needs to happen, but I wouldn't mind RPing more. And, Skypaw, that'd be cool of Ringedpaw; I started the thread in the Moon Pinnacle board if you want to just pop in and mention in OOC what life he would like to give Bramblepaw. And, yay Spotty! They have something to talk about on the boring walk to the Moon Pinnacle! ))
