Sapphirestar pressed against her friend and glanced at Lynxpounce as she spoke nodding slightly, as best she could over Midnightdawns shoulder. She knew the warrior wanted to retort, but woulnd't because of respect and understanding. She flicked her tial acknowledging she would look after Taintedfaith. She wasn't going to leave him far from her sight. She drank in Midnightdawns scent but under it she caught a faint whiff of Taintedfaiths and she flicked her ears slightly. She wanted nothing more than to go and curl up beside her mate, but she knew that Midnightdawn needed her. "We will sit vigil for her tonight, after the Sunset Patrol comes in. She said and licked her friends ears calmly. "Don't worry. She walks with Starclan." She whispered in her ear.
Poisonhealer fell behind Lynxpounce as they turned and trotted off toward the warriors den. His mouth opened to answer her, but Leopardfang already exited and retorted. He smiled at the she-cat and flicked his tail. "You have grown a lot since she left. it's not as if you became a warrior the day she left." He said and looked at Lynxpounce. He flicked his tail toward the leader ,and spoke again, "Hunting Patrol, Us three and Nestpaw.' he said and as he spoke the young apprentices name she trotted out of the apprentices den and he flicked his tail calling her over. He looked toward the entrance and spoke, "Well shal;l we go then?' he asked and with that he urned and lead the patrol out of the clearing and into the woods.
Nestpaw luifted her head and stretched. She needed to get up and see if she could find Harepaw. She smiled and looekd around the den. Gone Typical.[/i] she thought and stretched quickly and shook the moss out of her fur. She slipped out of the den and flicked her ears hearing her name. She turned to see the leader and medicine cat deep in conversation. she looked over and saw Poisonhealer beckoning her. She trotted off toward them and nodded following Poisonhealer out of the clearing and into the woods. She glanced at Lynxpunce, and tilted her head slightly. She she-cat looked familiar. She should knwo who she was. Lynxpounce, Sister to Taintedfaith, Daughter of Russethawk. Ahhh yess she had gone missing shortly before Nestpaws apprentice ceremony. She smiled adn spoke her tones soft and even. "Welcome home." was all she said before breking off into a run to catch up t Poisonhealer on the other side of the clearing slipping through the tunnel.
