Name - Alnitak

Description - Alnitak could easily pass for a younger version of his father. He is huge for a five moon old kit, and could 10 moons old, without his kit-like playfullness. His legs and body and long and lean, and his shoulders already broad and powerful. His paws are large and strong, and hold large sharp claws. His ringed tail is long and thick, giving him excellent balance.
Alnitak has deep green, expressionless eyes, like pine needles. The fur above his nose is shinier than the fur on his body, most likely because it is much shorter. He's very handsome, and has an air of self-confidence that can't be beaten. His nose is dark grey and his large ears are full of white fur.
Personality - Alnitak is quiet and thoughtful, and doesn't ever take things at face value. His decisions are his own, and he doesn't let anyone change his mind once he makes it. He always thinks before he acts, and considers the consequences of everything. He inherited his mother's nasty temper, however, and loves revenge.
If Alnitak likes you, you've just made a good friend for life. If he doesn't, you might want to stay away from him because those claws hurt. He doesn't like to, but he'll kill as much as he has to, though he always prefers to exhaust his other options first. He is ambitious, and already has plans; he won't let anything get in their way.
History - Alnitak's parents, Polaris and Alpha Centauri, were formerly clan cats in a clan far south of their current range. They were kicked out because of a failed "military coup" and eventually made it up north. They gave birth to Alnitak and his siblings in a taiga. Alnitak was firstborn; he was named after the star Alnitak in the southern hemisphere. It forms a line with the stars Anilam and Mintaka, hence the names of his littermates.
His first five moons passed in relative monotomy. He began wanting to leave and go exploring on his own, but stayed because of his parents' darkly cryptic promise that he'd probably be getting more adventure than he'd ever want to see in the next few moons. His parents taught and are still teaching hin to hunt and fight; he spends much of his time wrestling with his sisters.
Alnitak wants to become a formidable fighter, respected and feared by everyone around him, or at least he thinks he does; he is yet to see much of the world. In typical kit fashion, he can only really see what's right at the end of his nose.
