General Rules,
NUMBER ONE. Respect all other members, especially administrators. If your a newbie, it pays to make a good impression and be respectful to others; remember, you are the new member here, you are about to start a whole new reputation here.
NUMBER TWO. Try to keep conversations sweet. If you cannot speak to another member without making mean comments about them, do not speak to them. If you are being insulted/harassed by another member over PM, please tell an administrator. The only fighting/arguing acceptable is in IC.
NUMBER THREE. If another member asks your for help, never mock them because they do not understand something. Try to help them, and if you cannot, PM an administrator about the inquiry.
NUMBER FOUR. Never put another member down if they cannot spell or use grammar as well as you. If you think somebody has a problem about literacy, please PM an administrator, who will give them some advice on how to lengthen their posts and clean up spellings and grammar.
NUMBER FIVE. Chat speak is never acceptable! Do not use any form of chat speak on the boards, or even the chat box. This is a literate role-play site, and I'd like it to stay that way.
NUMBER SIX. Pictures in sigs should be no bigger than 400 x 400, it's a reasonable size. Avatars must not exceed 100x100. You may have avatars bigger, because Proboards will automatically resize them to 65x65. But then they get all ugly and messy.
NUMBER SEVEN. Unlike in IC, you may curse some bit. But please, we prefer if you don't. Again this should be a friendly atmosphere, and cursing isn't what you call friendly. Most curses are already blocked, and we don't want you putting dots in between the words so we can see them. An example is: 'f.uck you'. That is stupid, and there isn't any need for it. So please, moderate your language.
NUMBER EIGHT. You are not permitted to advertise any other websites in your signature. There is a specified forum for advertisements and they are allowed nowhere else on this board.
NUMBER NINE. Every member must abide by Proboards' TOS. Therefore, no inappropriate or adult content to be posted on the board by any of the site members. If Administration finds any such material this will result in the offending member to have their account suspended for a period of time that will vary will the severity of the offense. Note, this could include a permanent ban, or a warning.
NUMBER TEN. If a member is inactive for a month without posting the reason for their absence in the correct board, their account will face deletion if no reply has been granted to the courtesy email. However, the account will only be deleted if activity checks are not responded to. In summary, respond to activity checks, post notification of absences and most importantly; post.
