A young she-cat sat outside of ArcticClan's newly-deemed apprentices' den, her feathery tail swishing easily, gently, on the ground behind her as her pretty face looked up toward the twinkling stars. Her jade-hued eyes, the same shade as her mother's, sparkled as if to respond to the stars' shimmers, reflecting the dots of light pinning the curtain of darkness over Silverpelt.
"Is this it?" the long-haired beauty asked, her voice soft as she remained staring at the sky. "It seems to be the perfect place, Copperpaw. I hope everyone up in StarClan won't suddenly tell us that this place is too good to be true. I don't want to move again... I don't want to have to leave behind anything else..."
[Close my eyes, see your face]
Flowerpaw's voice faded away for a few heartbeats, the she-cat musing on the stream of thoughts running through mind.
Her brothers and sister should have their warrior names by now. She wasn't blaming her father, of course. The Great Move had taken a toll on him as much as, if not more, than the whole clan. She'd be patient despite the fact that Bramblepaw, Cuckoopaw, and herself were quite overdue for their ceremonies; Sprintpaw was even of age, and he was about three moons younger than Flowerpaw and her other two siblings.
Flowerpaw smiled to herself. "It'd be like you wanted, Copperpaw," she said. "Sprintpaw will be able to get his warrior name with us, like you had wanted.
"I wonder what your name would be," she suddenly mused. "You were named for your eyes. I remember Mom telling me that's why Cardinalvoice named you Copperkit. Maybe Coppergaze? Your eyes always did look so gentle, yet full of determination when you looked out for the rest of us.
"What do you think mine will be?" Flowerpaw continued, her voice barely a whisper as she spoke to the brightest star she found. "Flowerpelt doesn't seem right... Neither does Flowerclaw or Flowerfang. Those just sound weird." She involuntarily made a face before shrugging. "Well, I'll find out sooner or later."
[And nothing seems to ease the pain]
Silence enveloped the she-cat once more as she watched the stars. Abruptly, she sighed and laid her head on her paws, her eyes straining to continue staring at the sky.
How long had it been since Copperpaw's death? Flowerpaw knew that she had lived over half of her life without her brother physically beside her, yet it still pained her heart. If only she could hear his voice...
She lifted her head, her eyes steady on the brightest star, and waited.
...Of course, only silence answered her wish, but a smile quirked on her mouth as that star winked at her.
[And I just can't get through these nights without you]

[~]Cherubimpaw[~] His silver fur was thick and shimmering in the moonlight. He lifted himself from the ground his copper orbs dancing slightly as he noticed Flowerpaw's absence. He was attentive like that. He flicked his tail. Maybe she just wnet out for a walk or something... he thought but even as the words formed in his mind he caught a glimpse of the she-cat just outside the apprentice den. It had been almost two moons since the clan had found him, and invited him into their home. He had bonded immediatly with Mossmask, and Foreststar's children. Not on purpose, but there was something familiar about them, something he felt like he should remember. He shook the thoughts from his mind and let his paws carry him swiftly out of the den. His eyes fell on flowerpaw just as she finished speaking and he tilted his head just slightly to the right. Of course he didn't know much about this family's past. but he would soon find out. He moved forward and lay down beside her. "Who were you talking to Flowerpaw?" he asked softly his voice just a fraction above a whisper. That wasn't how he usually spoke, but this seemed to warrant the occasion. He flicked his ears forward, large as they were and smiled at her his copper eyes exactly the color of her deceased brother, but of course he didn't know that. He was friends with Flowerpaw, and he didn't like it when she was sad...and she seemed sad now. He would find out why.
Something whispered around on the autumn breeze. Copperpaw....Copperpaw.... The word was not something that Cherubimpaw heard or even understood, but it was there just the same. He was focused intently on his adoptive sister. Or what he considered her anyway. It had been Cinderpaw whom had found him...but without Mossmask's quick actions...he would have died. She was like a mother to him, and he would always view her as such. he flicked his tail again and smiled waiting for Flowerpaws reply. his eyes moved from her face up to the star's and he commented softly, his words calm and even. his voice even somewhat resembled Copperpaws, but again, he couldn't know this, "do you think they re really there?" he asked softly. He had been taught the basics of the warrior code in his small bit of training he had had here and there, but it was nothing he was sure about yet. he wanted opinions before he chose to believe or not believe.

[I'll find you somewhere. I'll keep on trying until my dying day]
Flowerpaw turned her gaze from the bright star to Cherubimpaw, a smile gracing her fair face. Her heart almost stopped when her jade eyes met his copper-colored ones, and she didn't allow any tears to form in her eyes at the familiarity.
"I'm sorry if I woke you," she said to her new foster brother, her tail curling around his smaller body comfortably. "I'm just speaking to Copperpaw, one of my brothers."
She paused for a heartbeat before adding, "...You remind me of him."
Flowerpaw returned her gaze back to the sky, enjoying the silence with Cherubimpaw. At his next question, she nodded without hesitating.
"StarClan is with us," she said, her voice strong and steady, confident like their brother Bramblepaw always seemed to be. "We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them. I believe Copperpaw sent you here to help us..."
Her smile grew wider at the thought. Perhaps that was why the stars were silent tonight; Copperpaw was laying right beside her...

[~]Cherubim[~]
His ears flicked forward but his eyes never left the sky. "I'm sorry i woke you. I'm just speaking to Copperpaw, one of my brothers." He let the scilence grow for a bit before he answered. "You didn't wake me...It was just time for me to get up." he said. His voice even and clear. There was no mistaking the confidence and easy-going attitude in his voice. There wasn't an arrogence about him, but he just seemed to know things...like that he should come talk to Flowerpaw...or that he was supposed to be here. He didn't question those feelings...he just went with them. Flowerpaw spoke again, her words made him wrinkle his brow in confusion. "You remind me of him" Her sentance was simple, and he wasn't sure he should press the subject or not. He decided against it as she answered his question. "Starclan is with us...We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them. I believe Copperpaw sent you here to help us..." He turned his head now tearing his copper eyes from the stars and laying them calmly on Flowerpaw's jade eyes, so like her mother's. he blinked for a moment and then sighed. "Sometimes I'm not sure there is anything up there...but It seems that something had to be guiding your patrol the day you found me..." he let the words hang in the air. he had heard all of their thoughts, they though he was their Copperpaw. He wasn't sure...he understood that his scent was somewhat the same...but eyes were the same...even he apparently had some of the same mannerisms...but...it was to weird to think that he had lived once.
He dropped his gaze to the ground his silver paws flashing against the green of the grass. he flicked his ears and looked back up at the sky taking in each star for a long time, before speaking. "I don't know if I am your brother...and Cinderpaw believes...and I don't know if that is a fair judgment for me to make...Who am i to say i am or am not?" He asked flicking his tail over Flowerpaw's body. what a pair they were. Friends laying just outside the apprentice den, tails wrapped around eachother and not a tension between them. it was a beautiful sight, he concluded and flicked his ears again slightly. he didn't know what to think of this clan, or their customs...but he would obey them, he would probably live by them. They had saved him, and there was no reason he wouldn't trust any of them with his life. He thought of Cinderpaw, he did have a deeper connection with her, he wasn't sure what it was, but when he had first seen her his heart had desired to be near her. It wasn't a pity feeling for her blindness, for he had known she could take care of herself. It was more of a longing...a deep lonliness. Like he had been gone for moons and having just returned wanted only to take in her scent and be near. then there were his new family. He had connected with them instantly...quicker than anything he could remember. Of course that wasn't very reliable given he only remembered meeting them on the tundra. Words:590 Muse:GREAT For: Flowerpaw NotesThey are so cute...they are like little philosophers...mahahahaha

C I N D E R ;;
same old song just a drop of water in an endless sea all we do crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see dust in the wind all we are is dust in the wind.
Cinderpaw rolled on her side, her sightless eyes listing lazily over the roof of the den. She had spent her entire afternoon tending to elders; changing their bedding, getting them food, the works. Not that the elders were terrible company. They seemed to like her, or pity her at the very least. She always liked to listen to their stories, too. They told tales of courageous warriors who braved all odds for the good of their clan and friends. They had what it took. They were heroes. She was a blind kit.
No. Thats not true.
Her conscience gave a thunderous growl. Cinderpaw sighed, shaking her head as if doing it hard enough would shake the voice right out of her mind. She knew she wasn't useless. She'd gotten this far being blind. She'd made the journey, and she had trained for moons to work with her weakness. She could use her ears to strike foes carefully and precisely. She had learned to cope with her disablement. She sighed, remembering Copperpaw, how he had never told her she couldn't do it. He had encouraged her, her friends had encouraged her. They all believed that she wasn't a lost cause. They even put extra effort into making her wanted after Copperpaw had died, and when she had gone into a sort of depression.
Cinderpaw pushed herself onto her paws while her back arched into a long relished stretch. She stifled a yawn, blinking tiredly. She wondered who was outside at this time. She knew her mentor had gone out on a late night patrol, again avoiding the extra training time Cinderpaw so desperately needed. Her mentor was just being a lazy-butt again. Oh well, its almost my warrior ceremony. She smiled slightly to herself, happy Foreststar was accepting a "disabled" cat as a warrior of the clan.
Maybe Cherubimpaw would be out there, or the friends she had grown near siblings with. and of course her real siblings who had always been with her through her hardships.
The she cat slunk silently out into the night air, taking in a long inhale of the cool breeze that danced around her, as though enticing her to follow it on its journey through the forests and rivers. Cinderpaw placed one cautious paw before the other, concerned about tripping in the unfamiliar surroundings. She raised her muzzle into the air, taking in as many scents as she could. Through her sensitive nose flew the smells of Cherubimpaw and Flowerpaw, mingled with the scents of her fellow clanmates.
Perked with sudden interest, Cinderpaw moved as gracefully as possible towards the source of the smells. She eventually ended up tripping over a random rock, landing with an unwelcome faceful of snow. She squeaked in surprise, removing her head after a brief struggle. A deep blush crept into her ears, washing them red in embarrasment. "H-hi!" She squeaked unintentionally. She shook herself wearily and sat down beside the two, feeling a sort of unspoken bond floating between them. "How do the stars look today?"

Flowerpaw chuckled slightly at Cherubimpaw's response to her apology for possibly waking him up. "It was time for you to wake up as night was coming?" Her tone wasn't mocking; just amused. She smiled at the tom as she gave one of his ears a playful flick with her tail before turning her eyes back toward the stars.
"I know you're my brother," she said, her voice confident and strong. "I... I don't think you're Copperpaw exactly... It'd be as if Cherubimpaw wasn't living his own life and, well... That sounds weird to me.
"You are my brother though."
The long-haired she-cat beamed at him, a giggle escaping her. "Mossmask claimed you as her son by adoption, if not blood. Therefore, you are my second foster brother."Before Flowerpaw could say anything more, her ears perked and her smile landed off to the side of the pair over Cherubimpaw's head to Cinderpaw. Flowerpaw blinked and her poor friend was face-first in the snow. Cinderpaw regained her balance, though, before Flowerpaw could get up to help her. With a soft smile, she responded to Cinderpaw's greeting. "I tripped over that same rock the other day after coming back from the nursery," she said with a laugh aimed at herself. "Despite being in this camp for a couple of moons, I still manage to get lost in here. Please tell me that you think the nursery in this camp reminds you of where the apprentices' den was in the old camp, too!
"As for the stars," Flowerpaw looked back up at the lights fondly, "they're as bright as always, like the twinkle in your eyes."[That although I'm far]Vivid green eyes blinked lazily from the apprentices' den as the cat whom the eyes saw for smiled sleepily at the trio outside of the den looking at the stars. Bramblepaw moved his head slightly just so he could watch his sister, his new brother, and his dear friend better. He couldn't hear very well as to what they were talking about, but most of the time they were looking at the stars. Bramblepaw imagined that Flowerpaw brought up Copperpaw; he knew that his sister took a night off from sleep once in a while just to talk to their brother in StarClan. Bramblepaw disliked Flowerpaw missing needed sleep, but he knew that she needed the talks just as badly. Sometimes he even joined Flowerpaw out there, but at other times he sensed that she enjoyed the solitude. The black-striped tom rolled over slightly, half on his brown back, half on his white belly. He could feel himself nodding off, but his conscience was telling him to watch the other three and make sure they go back to bed eventually. Bramblepaw himself had been on a couple of extra patrols earlier that day since ArcticClan had, unfortunately, lost quite a few cats during the Great Move, and others were drowning in grief. Bramblepaw thought about how he hadn't seen his father too often, and he knew that his mother may even get sick with worry for Foreststar. A heavy sigh escaped the tom as he thought about what a shame it was, and he knew he would do whatever was necessary to help out the clan. Truth be told, though, he would have done a victory dance when he found out he wasn't on the Dawn Patrol if he had the energy to perform one. A few more minutes, he thought as his heavy eyelids tried to shut all the way, then I'll try to remind those three of the importance of sleep... [I'm close to you within]

[~]Cherubimpaw[~] His eyes were focused on the sky as she spoke. He never let them turn toward her but his ears flickered slightly. "It was time for you to wake up as night was coming?" He didn't speak, he merely shrugged slightly with his left shoulder. He didn't really know why he was up...perhaps it was to have this conversation. Perhaps not. Perhaps it was just a coincidence. He flicked his tail as he felt her bat his and turned to look at her as she spoke of her brother. "I know you're my brother. I... I don't think you're Copperpaw exactly... It'd be as if Cherubimpaw wasn't living his own life and, well... That sounds weird to me." He didn't speak as she paused but his eyes locked onto hers and he smiled gently as she continued. "You are my brother though.Mossmask claimed you as her son by adoption, if not blood. Therefore, you are my second foster brother." he heard her giggle and he let a soft chuckle escape his own lips. he opened his mouth to reply but something or rather, someone cut him off. There was another voice entering their midst. It wasn't the voice though that caught him short. It was the sound of her face planting in the snow. He spun and was on his feet, knowing instinctively, although he didn't know how, that is was Cinderpaw. She was up and speaking before he took a step toward her though so he returned to his place and lay back down beside Flowerpaw and patted the ground beside him with his tail loud enough for Cinderpaw to hear as she spoke.
""How do the stars look today?" He waited hearing Flowerpaw open her mouth to speak. The words weren't exactly like he ahd expected though, but he knew that Flowerpaw was trying to make Cinderpaw feel better. He smiled his thanks though it was odd for him to have such a deep bond with anyone, he felt deeply connected to Cinderpaw in a way no one could explain. He looked over at her his copper eyes dancing with understanding for her and a calm acceptance of who she was. "Yes, they are quite beautiful tonight. And I think they are coming out even brighter just for us." He paused for a moment and then continued his voice softer and move solemn then before. "Perhaps your Starclan approves of this meeting between us." He said and looked over at Flowerpaw. "I still don't know about all of this, btu i am glad to have been found by this family." He said simply before looking back over at Cinderpaw and wrapping his tail around her as she lay beside them.
Words:480 Muse:Good For:Cinderpaw and Flowerpaw Notes: I think this is the oder we should go in...Mossy, Me Snow...sound good? [-]Sprintpaw[-] His heart pounded as he lept over the small branch laying in his path. His legs churned faster than they ever had, tearing at the ground with every step. His eyes were wide with fear and his tail streamed out like a banner behind him. His thin fur was stuck on end and he panted trying to pull air into his lungs but not succeeding. he stole a glance behind him and saw the thing coming at him like a wall of water. There was something terrifying in the smoke, but he didn't know why or what. Bramblepaw ran beside him his eyes wide with fear and that clawed at Sprintpaw's heart. Never had he seen Bramblepaw so scared. Never had he been surrounded by such a suffocating fear scent off of him and his brother. He looked to his left and saw Flowerpaw her eyes were streaming with tears and her fur was stuck on end, nothing was right, Flowerpaw was the strong sister, he couldn't let this happen to her. He yowled in fear as something covered his face. His eyes flew open only to see green covering his face. He gasped and threw his head from side to side. The moss flew from his face and he shot up in bed his eyes wide and his claws digging into the ground. His eyes fell on the white belly of Bramblepaw which stood out like a star in the black of the den. For a moment he thought they were swolloed by the black smoke from his dream but Brmblepaw moved then and Sprintpaw let out a sigh. He looked to where Bramblepaw was staring to find Flowerpaw, Cherubimpaw, and Cinderpaw outside looking at the stars.
His mouth opened slightly and in a soft tone so as not to wake the others in the den he soke to Bramblepaw. "Looks like tah family is getting together without us...come on." He said and stood nudging Bramblepaw in the shoulder with his nose. "Lets join them...we don't want them making any large decisions with out us men there do you!?" He said a lgith flare of laughter in his voice and he flicked his tail before moving toward the entrance to the den his golden orbs dancing with joy. He let his mouth open in a wide yawn before he spoke flicking his tail in greeting. He knew that sometimes Flowerpaw came out here to speak with Copperpaw..but it seemed like there was a gathering. He didn't usually join her, because he chose his own times to speak with his brother...his best friend. He flicked his ears and flopped down beside Flwoerpaw batting her ear and pressing his shoulder against hers. "How do you guys stay up so late!" He said stifling a yawn and smiling up at Flowerpaw giving her a goofy grin. There wasn't much to this little family...but they were close....very close. Words: 503 Muse: AWESOME For:EVERYONE!!! yay!! Notes: I thought this would be a good time for him and Flowerpaw to get to know eachother...I kinda picture him as the cool goofy brother who loves to make people laugh.

//Is it okay if I join? A soft ash grey pelt bristled as she felt the den go cold. Everone has gone. Skypaw opened her violet eyes and stretched before pushing her way through the den enterance. Skypaw shivered as the cool dusk breeze ruffled her long silver fur. 'It's cold out here tonight. How are you Sprintpaw?' She glanced around at the faces gathered in the camp clearing. Almost all of the Arctic Clan apprenitces were here, conversing under Silver Pelt. 'We must be turning into badgers of something. We've all become nocturnal.' Her laughter was a whisper, as not to wake the warriors in the den behind them. Skypaw was trying to belong, after her brother's death, she'd been more free from her black past than ever. 'All of our ancestors are watching us, guiding us. We can be influenced by the path which they trod before us, but I dont think we could ever be the same. I used to want to be a medicine cat, but I can see now that I was meant to be a warrior. Copperpaw and Cherubimpaw are very similar in many traits, any cat couold see that, but if they were the same cat, then Cherubimpaw's actions would only be an imitation, or reflection of the memories which Copperpaw left. At least, that's the way I see it. Ringedpaw inherited his darkness from Diesel, but he never would have been the same cat. Thankfully, he will never have the chance to test the boundries.' She found that as she had been speaking, Skypaw too had been speaking to the stars above, maybe sub-consioussly hoping for a response. Her whole family was up there, except her father who walked in the Dark Forests below. Star Clan were real, thety were there beside you all the time. Skypaw knew that her mother, Tigerlilly was hunting will her, and shared the feeling of trimuph with every kill she made. ' Star Clan is the only place I have left to look for giudance. Mother...'

same old song just a drop of water in an endless sea all we do crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see dust in the wind all we are is dust in the wind.
Cinderpaw flattened her ears, but allowed a shy smile to creep upon her features. "Y-yeah." She murmured, shuffling her paws shyly. She had just made a fool of herself again, in front of all these cats. But they were her best friends, and they knew she wasn't perfect. She was thankful for that. Thankful that so many of her peers looked past the imperfection. They helped her out, they taught her, they loved her. They were patient when her disability got in the way, and they didn't make fun when she toppled over.
Cinder quickly seated herself next to Cherubimpaw, tail tip twitching anxiously. She could hear Sprintpaw giggling like a mad kittten nearby, and the voice of Skypaw, another appretnice. She smiled slightly. "Hi Sprintpaw, Skypaw." She giggled slightly at Sprintpaw's antics. Her green eyes then fell over Flowerpaw as she spoke about the stars. Cinderpaw exhaled wistfully. The stars seemed far away from where she was. She couldn't see them, but she could sense them. They were like dragonflies. No matter how many times you swatted at them, they always evaded, fluttering swiftly out of range.
Cinderpaw smiled faintly, thankful for Flowerpaw's kindness. "I bet they really are beautiful. I wish I could see them." She finished, trailing off almost awkwardly. She felt like because Copperpaw was in StarClan, that he too was very far from her. But here was this Cherubim, who had just appeared before them. And he was just like she remembered. Without thinking, Cinderpaw leaned onto Cherubimpaw, cuddling with what felt so familiar to her. Copperpaw would always wrap his tail around her protectively, as Cherubimpaw was doing now. It was like a rush of memories she had worked so hard to surpress. She closed her eyes, momentarily losing herself in thought. She buried her nose in Cherubimpaw's fur, not really wondering if he would be freaked out or not. She just felt on top of the world. As though she had gotten Copperpaw back good as new.

Runepaw let out a long, exhausted yawn as she sprawled herself out in the moss. There were only a few apprentices in the den, which was a little odd seeing as it was late at night. Usually only the warriors went out at this time. She pulled herself to her paws, trying to shake away the strange dream she had been having. She hoped no one had been woken by her constant twitching. The she cat had a hard time keeping still while she slept, which sometimes meant being kicked out of the den for accidently pawing someone in the face.
"I hope dreaming about dancing badgers in a flower field doesn't mean I'm mentally-OOF"
The apprentice was head over paws before she could fully register, tripping over a lump in the den. As she landed on her face, it struck her the "lump" she had fallen over wasn't a lump, but a cat. She looked over guiltily, seeing Bramblepaw. She let out a tiny squeak. "I'm sosososososososososo sorry!" Runepaw mindlessly babbled, before she felt an overwhelming wave of embarrassment. "Man I'm a mousebrain." She sighed in exasperation, sitting up. She shook herself, attempting to keep composed. "I-that... IT SO DIDN'T HAPPEN." She denied, trying to keep a hold of her dignity.
Suddenly she noticed Bramblepaw wasn't the only one to witness her act of extreme lack of grace. Skypaw and Sprintpaw had been chattering away at the time she was causing such dissaray. Runepaw shuffled her paws, trying to find a way to snake her way out of embarrassing herself further. She peered at Bramblepaw, hoping he didn't wail on her for nearly knocking him over. She was known to be a klutz.
ooc l ahah I just placed Runepaw in thurrr because of before when we were talking about if Bramblepaw would like another kitty instead of Cinder. We can see if they have anything going there XD rofl all my cats are clumsy apparently. hgfsgs Also fail!post.

[If all you've got is us then life's worth living]
Flowerpaw gave Cherubimpaw's ears a fond lick with her tongue at his words. "We're glad StarClan led Cinderpaw to you," she said, gently reinforcing her belief in StarClan. Her jade-green eyes were soft as she watched Cinderpaw join the pair and curling up close to Cherubimpaw.
Cinderpaw seemed totally convinced that Cherubimpaw was Copperpaw. Flowerpaw, although trusting in the uncanny similarities, wasn't entirely sure...
"I understand what you're getting at, Skypaw," the long-haired she-cat said when the other apprentice joined the group, nodding to the silver-pelted female with a smile. "Glad to have you join the party out here.
"You on the other paw...!" Flowerpaw grinned teasingly at Sprintpaw as he came bounding out of the apprentices' den as well. She ducked instinctively at his paw swiping at her ear and muttered, "Furball" affectionately before nuzzling the top of his head. She shook her head at his yawn and asked gently, "Why are you out here if you're tired...?" [And if you're in, you know I'm in]"Not you too," Bramblepaw had muttered to Sprintpaw, unable to keep his smile off his face at his foster brother's enthusiasm as the larger tom put a paw over his face. His words were lost to the wind, however; Sprintpaw had already gone. Bramblepaw blinked his eyes and watched the growing group, nodding vaguely to Skypaw as she padded by to join the others. How could they all have the energy to be awake this late? He found it baffling. I feel old... He seemed about to get up on his paws to comply with Sprintpaw's wishes to have him join the group as well, but he suddenly became frozen in place as his sharp eyes watched Cinderpaw nuzzle Cherubimpaw. Bramblepaw hadn't fully expected his heart to clench like that. An inaudible sigh escaped his mouth as he forced his body to relax. Bramblepaw had known from the instant Cinderpaw sensed Cherubimpaw's that she had been attracted to him, that he had reminded her so much of Copperpaw that it would have seem illogical if she hadn't wanted to stay by his side. Bramblepaw had seen the familiar signs around Cherubimpaw as well; perhaps he really did have Copperpaw's spirit within him, guiding him. Bramblepaw shook his head, admitting defeat. If Cinderpaw was happy, then Bramblepaw would continue to be a good friend to her and to his new foster brother. Once more, Bramblepaw attempted to get up, and once more, Bramblepaw stayed down. "Ow...?" The large tom blinked as he looked around to see who -- or what -- had just tumbled over him. A crooked smile placed itself on his maw when he spotted Runepaw, the younger she-cat rambling apologies before he could open his mouth. When Bramblepaw was able to get a word in, he said, "Shhh, it's okay, don't worry about it. Apparently I'm just destined to get up at this absurd time in the middle of the night anyway. You're not hurt, are you?" Ah-ha! Success at finally getting on his own paws (despite wobbling a bit due to fatique). With a jerk of his head gesturing toward the group outside, Bramblepaw said, "Let's go join them so we don't wake the few sleeping apprentices left." He padded out of the den with a large yawn escaping, and his ears twitched at hearing Flowerpaw giggle. "Yeah, sure, laugh at my bed-fur like I'm the crazy one who decided to have a party in the middle of the night," he said before flopping down on the other side of Skypaw, the closest one, and glancing at Runepaw out of curiosity to see where she would seat herself. [I'm ready and I'm willing]

[-]Sprintpaw[-]
Love of my life, look deep in my eyes. There you will find what you need. Sprintpaw barely lifted an ear as Bramblepaw followed runepaw into the clearing and joined the group. He smiled slightly and looked up at Flowerpaw as she spoke and nuzzled the top of his head. He smirked and gave her look like, well duh He lifted her head slightly and ressed his muzzle agaisnt her's in greeting, and spoke pulling his head back to his shoulders, "Well, I couldn't very well leave you all out here ungaurded could I?" He asked flicking his tail slowly. It wasn't an outright challenge...but it was a pick at the pride of the other apprentices. He wasn't being rude, just his normal, arrogant, and silly self. "I mean, Cinderpaw...she might be able to handle herself, but really it's you I worry about Flowerpaw. I mean, I saw you miss that mouse yesterday." He said his eyes twinkling with instigation. Again he wasn't being rude, just picking at her, like a good younger brother should. He sighed in exasperation and moved to a sitting position rolling his eyes at her and speaking again, "I mean Bramblepaw and I won't be here every night...we are going to be warriors soon you know." e said putting the emphasis on we...purposefully and tactfully excluding her. His eyes flashed toward bramblepaw and his eyes rolled one again. "You big lug...your as lazy as a badger..." He smiled finding another opening to pick at a sibling, "You can't really be all that tired...or...maybe you are..."He said and stood aiming to move after Bramblepaw's tail like a playful kit. Words: 288 Muse:Eh... For: The apprentice royals Notes: nothing really...Hes trying to get a rise out of them, for a bit of play fighting or something by the way...especially Flowerpaw, I imagine him as the comic relief....hehe... [~]Cherubimpaw[~]
Death shall not part us. It's you I died for. For better or worse. Forever we'll be. Cherubimpaw turned his head hearing Skypaw join them and speak. He flicked his tail against Cinderpaw slightly as the words settled in his mind. Skypaw had said his name He flicked his ear toward the tom to hear his words. "...similar in many traits, any cat could see that, but if they were the same cat, then Cherubimpaw's actions would only be an imitation, or reflection of the memories which Copperpaw left." he shook his head slowly. He didn't understand any of this, though that had made a little sense to him. He could be both Cherubimpaw and Copperpaw...his actions wouldn't be an imitation, they would be a reflection, a reflection of Copperpaw through him. He understood then what he was. He was Copperpaw, but He was also Cherubim. He could be both, he would finish Copperpaw's work, finish his life that had been cut short. It didn't matter. He looked over toward Cinderpaw as she nuzzled his shoulder. Her nose touching his skin sent a shock through his system, but it wasn't bad, it was a good feeling. He was accepted here. and that was really all that mattered. He heard Sprintpaw enter as well, followed by Runepaw and Bramblepaw. He flicked his ears slightly catching snipits of conversation, but never the whole thing. He was to happy here...where he was..next to Cinderpaw. He sighed with content and looked over to see Sprintpaw playing with Flowerpaw. They were cute. He smirked lightly.
He looked at Cinderpaw as she spoke softly, and smiled at her. And though he knew she couldn't see him, he knew she would sense his pleasure. "I bet they really are beautiful. I wish I could see them." He smiled and lifted his head to stare at the stars. he opened his mouth to reply, but Skypaw, and Flowerpaw's voices cut through his thoughts. He smiled and returned to his mind in enough time to catch Flowerpaw's words, "Furball. Why are you out here if you're tired...?" Her words weren't to him, but to the little irritation at her side. Cherubim didn't really listen. he was more focused on his next words. He didn't know where they came from, but they poured from his mouth like a well rehearsed poem, "One day you will see them, but until then, I will describe them, in all their glory, as often as you ask." he paused to press his nose against Cinderpaw's head and then continued, "They are as bright and shimmering as the twinkle in your eyes. They are as warm as the sun on a green leaf day, and they are as white as the snow at your paws." he paused wondering if he should go on, but something cam over him, and he could not hold his thoughts in, "But compared to the beauty beside me, they are as shadows in the dark."
Words: 560 Muse:Eh...pretty great. For: The apprentice royals Notes: nothing really...i really like that last bit he threw in at the end to Cinderpaw. haha...he is such a romantic. OK IT"S DONE NOW!!!!! "Beloved" Lyrics by Tenth Avenue North

Skypaw's lavender silver pelt blew slightly in the breeze. This conversation was confuxing her. If she had of become a medicine cat, would she've become used to all this philosophical talk in riddles. She blinked slowly, puzzling over what was being said. 'Whoever you are Cherubimpaw, you have a path to follow, and may chose where to turn and stop and hunt. It's your life. Copperpaw is gone now, as is my brother. She found herself whisperins as she spoke the last part, 'I'm glad that Ringedpaw is no longer here. There is a seed of darkness in every soul. Ringedpaw had a tree' . Skypaw's brother had inherited every gene of his father, and Skypaw was the double of their mother. Only Ringedpaw hadn't managed to kill her, though not without trying. ' Anyway, none of that really matters. We're here, now, today. And it's the middle of the night, and freezing out here. Which furball's idea was it to have a midnight party anyway?' Skypaw pressed he body next to Cinderpaw to try and keep in the warmth. The miracle of this blind apprenitce and her two siblings was another mystery of Star Clan, and was maybe always meant to be just that. Cinderpaw was just as able as any other apprenitce, Cherubimpaw was helping to prove that. Skypaw smiled slightly as she thought of the crush Ringedpaw had had on that Glacier clan apprenitce, and tried to imagine him saying such romantic things to anyone. The obscure imagery in her head was enough to cause Skypaw to double over in peals of laughter, snorting like a horse. It sounded and looked like she was in pain. Her dark violet eyes were streaming with long supressed tears, her narrow shoulders were convulsing and she was choking with each breath she took. It felt so good to be free, that she never even stopped to think of the sleeping cats around her, nor the gathered apprenitces and what they might be thinking of her display. Through tears, she managed to see Flowerpaw, Cherubimpaw and Bramblepaw with strange expressions of their faces, but weather the wetness in her eyes was distorting reality, or weather they thought she'd truly gone loopy, she couldn't tell. At least she was providing the next scene of the evening's entertainment. Muse: Someone will have to explain that one to me... Word count: 414 Notes: Maybe it's best if we didn't encourage this kind of behaviour from the normally dignified little Skypaw =] I dont know what went wrong with me when I was writting that.

C I N D E R ;;
same old song just a drop of water in an endless sea all we do crumbles to the ground though we refuse to see dust in the wind all we are is dust in the wind.
Cinderpaw snuggled closer to Cherubimpaw, feeling a chilly breeze ruffle the fine hairs of her black pelt. She wanted to see the stars, she wanted to see the faces of her friends and family, see what the forest looked like, and most importantly what Cherubimpaw looked like. Surely everything was as great as her boundless imagination could conjure, it had to be. Nothing that felt and smelled and sounded as beautiful could possibly be any less than amazing.
She let a stray giggle pass through her at Sprintpaw teasing Flowerpaw. They were quite cute, the two of them.
Cinderpaw turned her head slightly as Skypaw began to briefly speak of her brother, Ringedpaw. That rang a bell. He had turned evil, she could remember the gossip in the camp, but she was never really paying too much attention to things before Cherubimpaw had showed up. "I remember him..." She trailed off once more, unsure what else to really say about that. She hadn't known him well personally, but Skypaw was his sister. It must have hurt her greatly to see her brother turn into that.
Her attention was again redirected as the tom at her side went into verses of poetic words. She felt her heart give a violent flutter. A soft smile appeared on her face and she could only utter an appreciative little squeak as she pressed her nose into his fur with shyness. "Iloveyou," she murmured in a barely coherant voice.
R U N E ;;
theres no combination of words i could put on a back of a postcard no song that i could sing but i could try for your heart our dreams, they are made of real things like a shoebox of photographs with sephie-toned loving
Runepaw blinked and curled her tail around her paws, sheer embarrassment legible on her features. She was one spaz of a cat. "No, no I'm okay from the neck down," she laughed sarcastically. Her brain really didn't function all that effectively at this time in the night, anyway.
Runepaw turned back to Bramblepaw, catching his suggestion. She nodded blankly and followed the tom over to the small group of crazy nocturnal apprenticds, pausing to decide where to seat herself. She eventually made the choice to sit beside Bramblepaw, throwing him a shy smile. He probably thought she was some scatterbrain for tumbling into him like that.
She smiled lightly at Bramblepaw's comment about the time. "Well thats because we're obviously a bunch of owls, right guys?" She teased the other apprentices. It really was strange though, them all being out at this time. The warriors on night patrol probably thought they were a bunch of mousebrains. Her mind momentarily clicked out of focus as someone brought up the topic of warrior ceremonies. Truth be told, she'd forgotten all about them. "Oh yeah! I totally forgot. What kind of names do you think we'll get? I bet I'll get to be um... RuneAwesome! Okay not really... Runespell... Yes! Runespell, I like that one," she babbled away, off in her own little tangeant.
