Special Traits: enhanced night vision, speed.

Description: Gleaming green eyes that cut through the darkness, with a body as lean as the wind itself. This black cat has a thin body, and a long build. She has a sort of elegance to her, that no one can put their paw on.
Her green eyes are round and large, and they seem as if they could kill you, just with a glance.
She has large, pointed ears and a small black nose, that streaches into her muzzle, which hides her long, deadly teeth.
Ashi's body is completely black, except for her one right paw, which is a startling white.
Personality:
Ashi is what you could call a night crawler. She has a dark personality, but she loves playing with other cats in the dark, or scaring them out of their fur, well, with her enhanced night vision and her unnatural speed, anyone would be terrified if she came creeping up on them in the dark.
Apart from her mysterious demeanor and trickster personality, she's actually quite the lovable feline. If you're her friend, she will cherish and protect you with her own life at stake.
She has a soft spot for kits that haven't been taken as GEMs and would do anything to protect them from the evil two-legs who did this to her.

Birthed to Nala, the domestic shorthair kitty-pet, and Tiger, the brown tabby tom with dark black stripes and striking yellow eyes.

-kit-hood

As a kit, Ashi had a relatively good life. Living in a kitty-pet home, being fed whenever she wanted, living with her loving parents.
But, there will never be a happy ending for the GEMs.
Her parents liked going out on sunny days, and sometimes they would bring her back a mouse or two, before the two-legs found it and threw it away.
But, today was an amazing day for Ashi. Today she would be allowed to go out with her parents. To follow them as they lazed around on the grass behind the two-leg nest.

"Momma!" Ashi cried to her mother, Nala, a beautiful black she-cat who she had inherited her looks from, "Momma!" Ashi cried again as a bird fluttered around her.
"We're here!" Ashi's father called from the other end of the grass.
Ashi raced over, tripping and stumbling over her clumsy and fragile kitten legs. As she was getting up from one of her many falls, she heard a scream.
"Ashi! Don't come this way!" Her mother screamed to her, followed by loud barking.
^{Mother always told me to stay away from the neighbours...} _{...It wasn't until now that I understood why.}
As she watched the pitbull from the neighbouring twoleg nest tear at her father, as her mother desperately tried to claw at his pelt, Ashi was horror struck. The blood, the screaming, the pain, and her mothers last words.
"Ashi..." She heard the words sputtered out behind the blood filling her mouth, "...Run▬"
The pitbull was wagging his tail in happy glee as he finished playing with his toys. He howled in triumph.
^{I wished desperately for this to be a dream...} _{...But it wasn't.}
Running as fast as she could through the forest, Ashi didn't have time to think. The pitbull was loose. It wasn't contained by the metal string like it usually was. But it wasn't.
"Run away! Run away!" Ashi sobbed as she dragged her paws across the forest floor, remembering the last word her mother had said to her.

Ashi crawled under a tree rout, she was almost certain the horrible dog had given up it's chase, but she had to keep running. She had to get away from it.
Crunch. The sound of something heavy crushing twigs and dried leaves under it's step.
Then again. Crunch.
She almost lost herself when a twoleg wearing a white coat appeared at the opening of the hole under the tree she was hidden in. It said something to another twoleg, as they scooped her up and put her in a metal cage.
They had to be safe, right? They were like a twolegs that helped raise her. They had to be safe.
